Cable Mountain, Oct 24

Commentary and photos by Donna C.
Once again Jean-Guy took  8 of us for a healthy workout and adventure - this time we parked by the yellow trail on Milliken Road, from there we ventured along several marked trails, along Sheriff Lake, then climbed up a cliff to where we hiked to a lookout, with a wonderful 360 degree view.  We came down from the lookout via a cable which we followed all the way down to the road which is why we are calling this "Cable Mountain".  To the south you could see the North Channel, west you could see Elliot Lake, east and north you could see McCabe Lake, Strouth Lake and even the white cliffs of Mount Baldy.  Of course we did a little "bush-whacking". In all it was a very adventurous day among good company and a lot of laughs.  PHOTOS
