OLD BUSINESS:

- We need suggestions for C de B activities / input for Elliot Lake 60^th celebrations;

- Ideas for Trail Signs (not on mine property;

- Reminders:

- If on mine property, the emergency # to get a gate unlocked is 1-705-461-0466;

-Sweeps name on sign-up sheets (don’t forget to log trail clearing requirements);

- Hike Leaders remember that all our hikers don’t travel at the same speed;

- Membership dues to be paid directly to the Soo. Notify Donna so she can update list;

- New Members to notify Donna; (so she can put you on members list right away);

- Paddle outings: If on the Blog, make sure it says “NOT a VTA sanctioned event”;

- Use the new sign-up sheets (please destroy the old ones) Pass completed ones to Jim (for stats). Will give to Donna to forward to VTA;

NEW BUSINESS:

- Need volunteers to help organize the Christmas Party (December 3^rd, 2015 at the Moose);

- Hike Leader Renewals and Hike Leaders Course: Gerry;

- C de B in Mississagi Park: Gerry

If required, can we expend $ to replace the dining tent we use at the park;

- Family Hikes: Gerry

- Hike times for winter hikes: George, Discuss;

- Combined paddle and hike with a pot luck at Camp Thompson (if possible) after. Tentative dates are: 23 May and 03 Oct. We will need volunteers for the pot luck;

- C de B donations to charities: Special Olympics, Food Bank. Discuss, motion?;

- Shared Use Trails Committee: Jim

-Spruce Budworm Study volunteers:

-3 days /week,

- 2 days /week,

-one day /week: Jim

- Club Activities 2015:

- Highway Cleanup Apr/May and Sept/Oct (treasure in the trash) Dates TBA;

- VTA Trail Maintenance Week 11 – 18 May. Info TBA when known;

- C de B will be involved with the Lumberjack Days at Mississagi (long W.E. in Aug);

(we will be calling for volunteers)

- Next Hike Leaders Planning Meeting: 14^th April, in the clubhouse at 2:30;

-General Meetings: - Sept and Nov. this year;

-Trail Clearing (signup sheets)

-Christmas Party -December 3^rd, 2015 at the Moose.

- Thanks to all our Winterfest volunteers for another successful family snowshoe.
