Usually you stumble across a lake every 400 meters.....

...except today!  Marty, Astrid, Bill, Marilyn, Emily and Sirje had every intention of having lunch along the shores of Samreid Lake.  It's been a few years since we've been there and during that time, you guessed it, the entrance to the trail has disappeared!  We ended up following another overgrown trail that someone had marked quite recently, but after bushwacking our way for 15 minutes or so we decided to return to the old logging road we had left earlier.  We explored the old logging road/ATV trail a bit further before returning to our vehicles.  Looking at the map when I got home, it looks like we were almost at Minnow Lake, we just couldn't see it!!  Sorry, no pics of today's hike, too busy bushwacking.  Also, I forgot my camera.
