Dave took on the TBA today for the lovely Monday hike from the Monument to the Horne Lake campsite. There were nine hikers in all and the chatter was fairly steady. There were lots of stops to identify flowers and to watch the geese. The lunch stop was at the campsite and on the way back the rain started to fall. Lucky Dave took us along the trail with a solid canopy of foliage which stopped the downpour for the most part and when we got to the clearing the rain stopped. Yet another great trek.
