Trail Clearing

Chuck (705 8481076) has called a trail clearing hike for Monday, 24th. October, 10am at Sears, for the Snowshoe Trail. Panel Mine Road to the Quirke Mine site.

No heavy lifting, tools provided. Come out and help clear a popular trail.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year. Our members also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing.
