Under a clear blue sky, Grant led five hikers on an advanced hike in Mississagi Park on the Jim Chris Trail.
There was lots of snow in the bush as we descended toward Helenbar Lake. We saw numerous rabbit, martin and moose tracks as we passed from the hardwood bush to the evergreens closer to the lake. We managed to complete the hike in just over four hours at a fast and steady pace with minimal breaks. Super day.
