A moderate size group went out on a fall September 21 to visit Rooster Rock. There was some confusion as to meeting location and final destination with people showing up at Sears when the meeting location was moved to Scotiabank due to a ball hockey game since cancelled, and some drivers mistakenly taking Panel Mine Road instead of Stanrock Road to Rooster Rock. We got everything straightened out, visited several lookouts over Quirke lake and went to the mine shaft for lunch. PHOTOS
