Sixteen hikers, led by Shelley, made their way to the Snowshoe Trail today. Parking just off 108 we took the "back way", hiked the bottom loop of the snowshoe trail, crossed the old rail bed and explored along the Serpent River until we found our lunch spot. It may be mid-September but the mosquitoes haven't had their fill yet and at times it seemed we were lunch! PHOTOS
