Saturday's hike to Split Rock did not disappoint. Ron and June led a dozen hikers on a lovely hike to this scenic lookout. Parking at the gate at the end of Stanrock Road, we hiked the former Canmet mine area, went through the bush to Split Rock. We enjoyed lunch overlooking Quirke Lake then made our way down to the base of Rooster Rock before returning to our vehicles. PHOTOS
