Ron led a group of five seasoned hikers to McCarthy Falls today; the
weather was perfect allowing what maybe the last time we snowshoe this
season. The hike into the falls didn't seem as difficult or as long
as the return portion of the hike due to the rise in
temperature. The snow became heavy and slushy and we had to strip
down to cool off. All in all it was a great hike & good company. PHOTOS
