Six of us hiked to McCabe Lake today under a cloudless sky and with relatively few bugs along the way. The low water level on McCabe allowed us to hike from the "campground" along the pebbled shore to a gorgeous sand beach we hadn't even known was there! We lingered for close to an hour before making the return trek to the cars. PHOTOS
