Reminders to Members: 

1. Hike Leaders’ Meeting at the clubhouse on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 2:30 p.m 
2. V.T.A. Photography Contest: You have until the end of Sept. to submit your photos to the VTA website http://www.voyageurtrail.ca/ . Click on “News” and then click on “40^th anniversary.” 
3. V.T.A. 40th Anniversary Hike Challenge: Check with the V.T.A. website for the official form. Click on “News” and then click on “40^th anniversary.” You can record your 40 km of hikes along any of the V.T.A. trails which you did between Sept. 2013 and Sept. 2014. 
4. New Voyageur Trail Guidebooks have now been printed. Some trail changes and updates in the 700+ km along the V.T.A. have been made. To avoid paying postage, it might be easier to contact the V.T.A to order one and just pick it up the next time you are in Sault Ste-Marie. The cost of the new Guidebooks is $30.00. Go to click on “store” click on drop down menu that says “Members Shipped $42.00”. The menu will show you “Members Pick up Yourself $30.00” . You could also just call the V.T.A.
