A small group of seven hikers led by Jean-Guy made the best of a gorgeous day with a hike in the Split Rock area. We explored the tailings area,,complete with sandhill cranes, across the road from the gate on Stanrock before making the climb up to Split Rock for lunch. Spotted on the drive there were two moose.
