C presented the treasurers report of all incoming and outgoing funds
since our April 2 meeting
Newsletters
from VTA are available on table

Trail Master Report
Ron T
thanked all those who helped clearing trails
Semi
White trail was in need of a cleanup
Mt
Baldy trail clearing possible the first Friday of July, to be
crossed by boats to get there
Route
66 trail clearing possibly in June – to be discussed with Debbie
Berthelot first
The
trails of Banana Lake, Porcupine trail, High Rocks trail were
suggested for clearing
Paavo V
suggested a new trail to clear for snowshoeing
Old Business
Suggestions
for charitable donations were made now that we received our stipend
A
motion to donate $ 150.00 to Special Olympics was made by Phil B
and seconded by Shirley Y, all were in favor
To
motion to donate $ 150.00 to Club 90 was made by Gerry J and
seconded by Emily W, all were in favor
Two
volunteers are needed to lead 2 easy hikes and a geocache for Elliot
Lake 60th
celebrations June 28
Ideas
for more trail signs needed , but not on mine property
Our
club came in 2nd
in the trivia contest in April

Reminders:
Inform
the hike leader or sweep if you leave the trail for any reason
If on
mine property, keep emergency # to get a gate unlocked in case of
emergency
Put
sweeps name of sign-up sheets
Membership
dues payable directly to the Soo, let Donna know when done

members notify Donna to put your name of membership list right away
If
paddle outings are on blog, make sure it says “ NOT a VTA
sanctioned hike”

Leader renewals will be available from Gerry J, fill in sheet if
older than 2011

Leaders Course will be May 30, sign up if interested

club will be Park Ambassadors again at Mississagi Park

club will be involved with the Lumberjack Days at Mississagi Park the
long weekend in August

hike leader meeting will be September 8 in the clubhouse at 2:30

meetings will be September and November of this year
