This morning, under overcast skies, Ron and June lead a group of twelve hikers to the Quirke Tailings site. There were many signs of wildlife activity. We found an area where a large group of elk appeared to have spent the night, fox tracks and the beginning of an otter slide. We enjoyed lunch overlooking Evans Lake. It was a great outing with everyone excited about the new fallen snow. PHOTOS
