Four intrepid hikers braved the early black flies to see the falls. Good to see and hear the water flow over the rocks as we enjoyed snack time. There was a "beaver deceiver " protecting the water flow through the low head dam leading into Rochester Creek. Jean Guy investigated for us. It looked like a wire mesh cage. We even saw some snow in the ditch along the roadway . No photos of that. By this time of year we all know what snow looks like!!! PHOTOS
