Strouth Lake, June 4th, 2016

commentary and photos by Astrid
Sandhills cranes, butterflies, geese, toads, lady slippers and our lush green surroundings were all a feast for the eyes as we hiked to Strouth Lake today. A nice breeze off the lake at lunchtime kept the bugs to a minimum and provided cool relief from the early June mugginess.  Thanks Jim and Sue!
