Five Intrepid hikers met for a
T.B.A. hike . It was decided to spend the hot, hazy, humid day checking out
the ATV trails from Esten Dr North to the Esten Lake boat launch and on to Spur
Lake. The shade on the trail provided great places to take a break as we
walked. The usual place on the trail that is a huge puddle was just a little
bit muddy. It has been dry lately. We had a nice place for our lunch on the
shore of Spur Lake. We returned by the same ATV trail to the Esten Lake boat
launch. From there we took a trail along Esten Lake that took us back to the
gravel pit on the boat launch road and then back to the cars. Great way to spend an early
summer's morning. Where else would you rather be!???
