Despite a -15 day, Sat. 7th. Jan., it was clear and sunny with little or no wind. Perfect snowshoeing weather for a trek into Banana Lake for 8 of us. A machine had been in for the first part of the trail, although the track was well covered by newer snow. From the start of the wooded portion we had to break trail to the lake. With 8 it was no problem. We had our lunch on the lookout and returned from there. PHOTOS
