The first Coureurs de Bois hike for 2017 was a leisure snowshoe hike to a new spot ideal for snowshoes which I will call Birch Grove Snowshoe Trail. It is behind Nordic Minesite and is a lower trail along the bottom of the dam. It then meanders in and out through birch trees then into a large open area. 11 of us led by Donna enjoyed the first hike of many for 2017. PHOTOS
