Apocalyptic weather reports did not deter 16 hikers from joining Jim as he led a snowshoe outing in the neighbourhood of Strouth Lake today. The trees sheltered us from the wind as we wound our way along the snowy trail and we opted for lunch in a quiet grove rather than the shore of the lake.
