We had all the ingredients for a perfect spring hike today; sunshine, no bugs, gorgeous scenery and wonderful company. We spotted turkey vultures, an impressive beaver dam, and towering pine trees. Our stunning surroundings were marred only by the garbage left behind by inconsiderate knobs! Seriously folks, the City of Elliot Lake has a dump. Use it. PHOTOS
