Sunny skies and the promise of a new adventure, not to mention prizes, brought 25 hikers together on the newly cleared Canada 150 Trail, accessed via the ridge on Helen's Trail. A wonderful wilderness ramble of uphills and downhills, log climbing, hill scrambling, stream crossing and bug dodging! After our climb onto the ridge, we were rewarded with suitable mementos of the occasion! We had lunch at the top end of Northspan Lake, just across the water from the dam where we usually stop. After our break, we looped back down to the mine road on Spanish American. Well done Phill!! Thank you so much for all your efforts to make this a truly memorable outing. PHOTOS
