9 members took the usual risk of a hike with Phill as we toiled up to the Rainbow on Tuesday, 4th. July. A sunny day and the usual accompaniment of every known bug plus some never seen before as we made our way up the TCT to the Rainbow lookout. Surprisingly, the trails were in pretty good shape given the recent events of rain and storms.
We returned via the "other" trail down from the lookout that involves using the cross trail near the golf course, following the shore line of Ryan Lake back to the TCT. Well marked, but still tricky in places.
