Wolf Lake, September 9th, 2017

commentary and photos by Donna
A frosty morning meant a great day ahead for hiking as Donna led 13 hikers out to Wolf Lake.  We parked on the main highway and walked the road down into Wolf gravel pit and followed a trail to Wolf Lake.
As the sun got warmer, some hikers started removing layers of clothes.  We had a nice lunch at an old campsite on the shore of Wolf Lake.  Mike and Phil noticed the skull of what they think was a moose....up in a tree.
Of course the long long hill back out awaited us but we did it at a pace each was comfortable with and survived it. PHOTOS
