Talk at the Renaissance Centre - Thursday January 10th!

Just a quick note to see if any C d B members would like to attend my Intro to Nature Observation & Animal Tracking presentation tomorrow January 10th at the PHFN meeting. It is at the Renaissance Centre @ 7pm. Jim Johnston

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year. Our members also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing.
