Bill and Bonnie lead the hike today to the top of Beaver Mountain and back down the other side. The trail was a good climb to the top and the back side was extra tricky with the narrow path and steep sections. The fallen leaves also covered the rocks and roots so all in all it was a challenge. We had 21 hikers at the start and when one felt the trail was too difficult Jim B was kind enough to lead her back to the trail head. The views from the top were as spectacular as always and despite the terrain all enjoyed themselves.
