Boom Camp Trails near Blind River

Steve took the hikers to the Boom Camp Trails near Blind river last Saturday, 30th. July. Pim reports some out-of-town vistors joined the group and they had lunch and a swim at the totem pole area. Thx to Pim for the pictures.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year. Our members also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross country skiing.
