The schedule has our annual Weekend in the Park for Aug 19/20. At the last meeting we had a sign-up sheet for anyone interested and there were 2 who signed up.
To fill you in on the expense side. We would book the group camp site and divide the participants into the cost and that is what you would pay. Last time we did the event it cost the club $98 I believe, and that would have worked out to $14 each for the 2 days. So it is affordable. The Club will also pay the day-use fee for full cars that just want to come for the Saturday.
We usually have a hike(s) on the Saturday, or you can canoe, lie in the sun, or do absolutely nothing. Your choice!
We need your input NOW, we will then attempt to book the site if it is still available. Failing that date, we will see what is available and get back to you.
