Our regular hike leader, Donna, could not make it to sign people up for a hike today to " sleepy hollow" a spooky trail off Quirke 1 tailings site. Instead, good witch Donelda came to the rescue. Potions were handed out to 14 hikers to fend off any " headless horsemen" they may meet in sleepy hollow. When we got to the start of the hike, good witch Donelda flew off on her broom and Donna our leader was present to take us on an eerie grey sky day for the hike. Fresh hoof prints along the way.....maybe the horseman?? Chuck explained the origin of the mudstone we found along the way.
