Astrid (and Marty) lead us through the Boom Camp trail in Blind River. 15 hikers followed the well maintained trail to the beautiful beach on Lake Huron. We stopped there for a lunch break and a few brave souls went for a swim in the rather chilly waters. There were a few fallen trees along the way from the fierce storm this past week but Judy’s saw talent and David A’s muscles helped clear the debris. There and back was about 7 km of happy hiking
