Chuck led a group of nine hikers today up the Tamarack Road. At the beginning of the hike there was a brief downpour but our spirits were not dampened! The skies opened up, the sun shone brightly and the deer flies came out en masse! Some wolf scat, moose tracks were the only wildlife signs today. Lots of wildflowers to brighten our day. Conversations were lively covering a variety of topics. Quick return trip to our vehicles due to the onslaught of deer flies. All in all a great hike with good friends- very enjoyable!
