Dave led a group of hikers up to the panel Mine road to the Snowshoe trail... mud hole dry, water in the cranberry bog, only one tree on the trail... took the east arm at the Y and pressed on towards sounds of construction.. we turned out to the road as usual and down to the Serpent river crossing for a break.. we split into two groups and our group took the west arm back to the junction, past the bog on the way. then retracing our steps and stopping to admire views we returned to the cars.. sunny, breezy, good footing, great company..
