On Saturday, 6 May, several club members took to the Cobre Lake Trail to clear winter debris. It was a clear cold start to the day, only 0 at about 9am and frost in low lying areas. One group travelled clockwise - up the view point first - and the others left in the opposite direction with a view to meeting at the picnic area at the Blue Sky Lake crossing. There were the usual large blow-downs, red pine primarily, but none that really would impede hikers. Plus smaller debris and encroaching growth. Hot dogs were served following the hike. A walking stick and floppy denim hat were found on the trail. To claim call Phill 8488767.
