A walk in the park

A large group drove up to Mississaugi Park on Tuesday, 3rd. October for an easy stroll through the park on the Semiwhite River trail. The leaves were breathtaking and the day was great for hiking.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
