A different view from last week!Saturday, 11th. Nov., 8 of us tramped through the fresh snow on an easy hike to Banana Lake. It had snowed heavily the previous night and the heavy stuff was still hanging on the trees along this scenic trail. We took the newly cleared trail to the campsite on the north side of the lake.
At 11am we stopped and observed a minute of silence in honour of fallen veterans. "In Flanders fields where poppies grow, among the gravestones, row on row." Lest We Forget!
