Boland River hike

12 hikers set out on the Boland River Trail, on Thursday, 11th. Jan. It was a nippy day at -17, but sunny and windless. Great day for hiking. The trail had frozen over in many of the slushy spots and it was fairly easy going with only a couple of inches of snow cover. The lake level at the end of the trail, where the Boland River flows out of Wylie Lake, was high with a heavy flow into the river as a result. Thx to "Bearded" John for the photos.
