27 people, combined Penokeans and Coureurs de Bois, took a nature hike conducted by Terri C on the Woodpecker Trail. Unfortunately, it was -20 or so, and we did not stand around for too long. We were introduced to a number of interesting facts regarding animal and bird habits and habitats and were rewarded by the appearance of a pileated woodpecker who entertained us within feet of the trail.
