Cookout at Sherrif Lake

Greetings from Florida! 14 hotdog eaters and one hot dog snowshoed out to Sherrif Lake on a brilliant Sat. in new snow for the fun day.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
