Text for the Stinson Lk hike 29 Mar.

Hi Phil,
Glad to see you arrived back safe and sound. I filled in for Allan Day last Thursday the 29th. It was
a cool but sunny day and thirteen of us hiked to, first Stinson Lake and then Pardee Lake and
stopped for lunch at the gravel pit at the base of the cliffs on the road to Vanhorn Lake. Some
brave soul had managed to find a way up to the top of the cliff and placed a Canadian flag there.
Clare was disappointted that she didn't get to climb the cliffs and so she decided to climb the
biggest rock in the gravel pit and eat her lunch there. The temp had risen to plus 12C by the time
we headed for the cars and the road had gotten quite soft in places.
