Thurs. 24th May promised to be a hot one and it was - 30C. Despite that, 6 came out to check the Rainbow and the extension of the red ski trail. A breeze kep the bugs at bay and we had a great hike. This is one of the most spectacular trails in our area with elaborate rock formations, beaver dams (the trail crosses one), views everywhere, lakes and pretty scenery. The loop is only 5-6 km with a couple of good climbs to the top.
