Jean-Guy is planning a 2 day excursion that will involve 2 hikes on the shores of Lake Superior. Plan is to drive to Sault Ste Marie on Sunday 12th Aug. and do a 7 km hike in the Gros Cap area of the Trans Canada Trail. Jean-Guy is planning to stay over at the KOA campground in SSM on Sunday night. He and Rae have booked a cabin there at $65 per night. Check KOA web site for more info on rates etc.
The following day (Mon) he plans to drive up to the Agawa Bay area of Lake Superior Prov. Park and hike a 9 km portion of the TCT.
On each hike, plan would be to leave vehicles at each end of the section to be hiked to avoid "dead-heading".
After the Monday hike it is up to each individual whether they want to stay over somewhere in the vicinity, or possibly return to SSM, or drive back to Elliot Lake that evening.
