Saturday, Sept. 22 is the hike day for Cobre Lake Trail. Meet at 9am at Sears. If you are usually an "easy " hiker,this is a 12 km. trail - BUT - take it easy and it is do-able. There is one steep climb to a fantastic lookout and minor hill from then on. You will pass through stands of red and white pine, cross million year old bedrock, pass by 6 lakes and end up at the parking lot with a great sense of satisfaction for a job well done! We will have the BBQ on at the end, coffee supplied. Bring your own dogs.
