Helen Ohler

Franz Ohler called this morning to tell us that his beloved Helen had passed away peacefully in the hospital in North Bay. Helen had surgery recently after it was found she had cancer. Those of us that met her found her to be an energetic and pleasant person who just loved Elliot Lake and the outdoor activities it provides. We will miss you Helen.
Helens' remains will be cremated and a memorial service held with relatives and close friends in North Bay.
If you had met Franz and Helen when they were in Elliot Lake last year, you will know how much they both loved this area and the friends they made here.
