NEW BUSINESS: No new business.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT: How money generated for the Club. Trail clearing, for which the City pays the Club, cheque received for $2,500.00, which will be dated 29th November, 2007. A report of vandalism on the Horne Lake Trail behind the Civic Centre. Materials will be purchased for repairs. There are presently 5 TransCanada Trail signs. Three on the Westview nature Trail. One on trail between Spine Beach and Red Briffett Trail and one on the trail from top of the ski hill towards the fire tower. The Trans Canada trail from Spanish through to Thunder Bay is also a Voyageur trail. There are a number of subscribers, a new one is Bell and this will be placed in the pavilion in the spring. The membership list from SSM was a mess. The Club will be doing our own list in future, so all membership fees are to go to our Club.

TREASURER’S REPORT: After various expenses, a balance of $1,847.00 and change. Moved by John Franks, seconded by Shelley McLennan. AIF.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT: The recent list shows six additional people, whereas only one is a member.

TRAIL MASTER’S REPORT: Repair work will be done ASAP on next good day. The ATV Club will help take wood to the site and cut down brush on trail. Also need to repair the ramp by Spine Beach. These are things the City was supposed to do but didn’t. Went to part of trail on Rossmere Creek, very few signs left indicating trail went as far as Crooked Creek - new ones will be put up. A group went to Granary Lake, some good pictures. Gerry and Nikki Jean have been getting groups together to clear Rainbow Trail from Nordic. Went in from Stinson and trail in pretty good shape. Can always use more volunteers on the Horne Lake repairs.

WEBMASTER’S REPORT: There is a blog and we can always use digital photos. Can also now send videos. Any suggestions for improvements, let Phil know. Main suggestion from survey about a month and a half ago, was for more photos. Alan indicated Christmas Parade on 30th November, we usually have a float and would like 2 or 3 volunteers at the Snowbirds Workshop on Timber Road on the 28th November at 1:00 p.m. A $50.00 donation to the parade organizers proposed by Phil Barnes; seconded by John Franks; AIF. Diane proposed a donation be made to the Food Bank in the amount of $200.00; seconded by Nikki Jean; AIF. If anybody wants a hard copy of the monthly schedule, Phil will mail one.

Alan declared the business meeting closed at 8:45 p.m.
