Sad news

I know you will join Liz & I in offering condolences to Jean-Guy and Rae Letarte at the loss of Rae's mother recently.
There will be an opportunity to offer comfort personally at the funeral home on Saturday, 16th Feb. from 2 - 4pm or 7 - 9pm.

Who we are

Welcome to the blog of the Coureurs de Bois Outdoors Club headquartered in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada.

We are a very casual hiking club.

We have about 250 kilometers of trails in the pre-cambrian shield, a beautifully scenic and fairly rugged area of lakes, wetlands and rocky areas amply covered by all manner of flora and fauna.

We offer leisure, easy and intermediate hikes, snow shoe hikes and special events throughout the year.
