On Tuesday and Thursday this week, the scheduled hikes are in Mississaugi Park. The Helenbar has a climb to it, but is classified as easy, just take your time. The view at the top is great. Meet at Gerry & Nickies campsite #23. at 10am
Thursday, we plan to do PART of the McKenzie trail, only to the lookout over Brush lakes and then return. This is a little longer and also affords a great view. Meet at Liz & Phill's campsite #20. at 10 am.
There is a day use charge to use the park, but it is by vehicle, not per person. So car pool and jam everyone in. Also, it is cheaper for seniors and that is the driver, not the passengers, so get an old fogy to drive!
Not on the schedule is a Wednesday hike on the Boland river trail. This goes west to Wilkie Lake and is about 7-8km. return. Only one hill. We will meet at 10 am at Boland river Rd. about 1km north of Laurentian Lodge.
