4 of us took off for a few days near Algonquin Provincial Park last week and visited the Haliburton Forest and took the Walk in the Clouds. This is a suspended walkway consisting of about 30 sections of about 30-50 feet each up in the trees. It was originally in old growth in taller white pines. These were blown down in a tornado a couple of years ago and it was rebuilt. Unfortunately it is not as high, or in the canopy, but still an interesting experience. They also have a pack of wolves in a 15 acre enclosure and these can be viewed at the Wolf Howl Centre as part of the admission.
Did you have any interesting trips this summer? Why not send a few pics to me via e mail with a short write-up and I'll put them on the blog?

Sleepy wolves sunning themselves at the Wolf Howl Centre. They had had a good meal of deer (road kill) and were full.
