Subject: Snowshoe outing in the Lacnor Tailings Area. Thursday's outing was a long one, and it was a beautiful day to do it on, a little bit cold too start off, but it warmed up later on in the afternoon. There were 9 of us, and we did the outing that Gerry, & Nicky wanted to do last Thursday, they took us up & into the Lacnor Tailings area, & eventually we all made it over to Whye Lake, with a little bit of confusion in the 2 areas, and checking two kinds of Maps. I said it was a long outing, because Grant wanted to see if he could make it from Whye Lake, & over to Sherriff Lake, so Grant, Shelly, and Myself,split up from the main group, they headed back to the Cars, and we continued our trek towards Sherriff Lake, finishing the whole outing at 3:00pm, 20 minutes behind the first group. So today Grant is one very happy snowshoer, having made it all the way. Tim Horton's was his desert.
