Geese beating a hasty retreat
Lunch in the breeze, blackflies mainly absent.
Sat, 13 Jun. 2009 Shelly took 9 of us on a hike in the Stanleigh Mine area. It was a beautiful day, a bit of a breeze, which kept the blackflies at bay. We saw sandhill cranes, geese, and a raven protecting it's nest and several species of insects and other wild life.
